Lolly Quilt

A finish, a finish!

This was such a quick and easy quilt to make.  Very gratifying.  :)

I started with a layer cake of Tula Pink's Elizabeth and then added some extra strips to make it bigger. It was quilted at my LQS and bound over the last 2 days.  Woo Hoo!  My first complete quilt of the year!!

How amazing are these colors!!

 It is backed with a fushia and black print from the Elizabeth line.

 It is now hanging out at the LQS where I work.  Yay!

Another Superstar

I got my second Charm Pack Superstar pieced together.

 I started with a charm pack of Fresh Cut.  And just like with the last one, I took out the really light, low volume prints and,  I added in some other pretties from my stash to fill it out.

Look at how nicely Tula's prints play with the Fresh Cut!  I mean this bee is just too cute.

And these trees - LOVE them.

Lori Holt's cute little bees made an appearance as well.

 I managed to get the quilt all marked before our trip to Grammy's house so that I could get some hand quilting done in the car.

I got quite a bit done!
