Woo Hoo! I finished my wedge quilt top yesterday - just in time to catch the last few minutes of sunlight.
I ended up adding two more rows to the bottom in order to make it a size I liked.
I'm so happy this little charm pack has been turned into something cute.
The border is a bit big at 6 inches, but I really wanted to show off the writing in the fabric. I am really happy with how it turned out. It ended up being 51" x 52 1/2", a nice size.
Thanks for stopping by!

I will be linking up to Crazy Mom Quilts and Confessions of a Fabric Addict.
I love that quilt! The text fabric in the border is great too. I think you made the right choice making the border 6" wide to showcase it.
ReplyDeleteHow many charm packs did you use? I have a Christmas charm pack that I've been trying to figure out what to do with.
Thanks! I just had one charm pack and was able to get 2 wedges from each charm. I wanted it a little bigger so I added in some stash fabric to fill it out. :)
DeleteSo cool Tracy! I love the play of all those wonderful, colorful fabrics against the grey background!
ReplyDeleteI love this one! I'm such a sucker for text print fabric anyway. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteI love this! So pretty! What a lovely way to use those fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThe border is too much fun! I'm glad you made it large enough to really see the words. Great quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Your wedges are put together really well. I made a Comma quilt last year using the Cherry Charm Pack pattern (plus some pillows and two tote bags - I love that fabric range!)
ReplyDeleteI think the border makes this top. I love your fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt border. It frames the piecing like a picture.
